Wining the WSOP Event #52, KT Park receives her first gold bracelet

Players from all around the United States and the rest of the world are currently competing in the 2022 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in Las Vegas, Nevada, with the ultimate goal of winning a poker tournament and earning the coveted gold bracelet. Because of this, Akkari's hand suffered significant damage, and on the subsequent hand, he went all-in.

While Akkari held 10-7 off-suit, Park held K-3 of hearts in their hand. The board ran out 7-4-A-5-2, which gave Park a straight, allowing him to win the hand and his first-ever gold bracelet from the World Series of Poker. Given that Park has only competed in one prior live WSOP event, which took place earlier in the series and was a $1,500 8-Game tournament, the victory is quite remarkable to say the least. During that competition, Day 1 saw him eliminated due to terrible circumstances.
